Kate Hudson Yankees Employee of the Month

One of my favorite Yankee blogs, It Is High, It Is…caught, gave their Employee of the Month award to actress Kate Hudson despite the fact that she is not technically an employee.

Reason she won the award:

Kate-Hudson-235x300The award was given as a result of a month in which Hudson — former star of “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” — batted .360 with 6 home runs and 18 RBIs, while fielding a flawless third base. Her key home runs against Minnesota, California and Philadelphia led the Yankees to the cusp of the franchise’s 27th World Championship.

It seems like they briefly gave some consideration for the fact that she’s never donned the pinstripes, but ultimately decided the extreme circumstances demanded it. Follow the link to see the rest of what they have to say. It’s a great site and you should check it out.
