Bruney to the Nats

Per Joel Sherman, H/T RAB, the Yankees have traded Brian Bruney for a player to be named later.

    So, like I figured, we were reading too much into the Post's Bruney rumor. I guess this is a salary dump. I figured he'd probably make somewhere around $3 million in 2010.

    The post is 0-for-2 today.

    Yep, definitely money that could be better spent elsewhere.
