When Do Yankees Spring Training Tickets Go On Sale?

Yankees spring training tickets go on sale Friday, January 15 at 10:00 a.m. If you are looking to buy tickets this is going to be the best time to buy them. Otherwise you risk getting stuck buying them on stubhub and there could end up being a decent mark-up afterward.

Of course the Yankees play their home games at George Steinbrenner Field which has been nicknamed The Boss by many sports writers. Games begin on Wednesday, March 3 when the Yankees take on the Pittsburgh Pirates, a team that actually has quite a few former Yankee prospects. They play 17 home games and wrap up on Friday, April 2 against the Baltimore Orioles.

The first few games are probably the best ones to go to if you want to see Yankee prospects that you may not see in the Bronx for a year or two. The final few games will probably feature the lineup Joe Girardi expects for opening day while the pitching staff is getting prepped to start the season. If you want to see CC Sabathia pitch buy tickets for the game against the Twins on March 31.
