No Other Changes To Yankees Coaching Staff Expected

Via Marc Carig of The Star Ledger:

Girardi on WFAN says he doesn’t expect more changes on staff, though they are all up contract wise: “I wouldn’t necessarily think so.”

All of the coaches are technically free agents, this news just means that the Yankees will offer them all contracts. It is possible that they could find other jobs elsewhere.

The Blue Jays were interested in Rob Thompson for their managerial job, but they have already hired another manager so it’s likely he’s staying. Tony Pena may be on the move though. A number of teams, the Marlins, Pirates, and others, have been interested in him as their next manager.
