Yankees Rumors: Nolan Ryan Expects Yanks to Outbid Rangers for Cliff Lee 1

Via Brian Costa of the Wall Street Journal:

Nolan Ryan said he expects Yankees to outbid Rangers for Cliff Lee. Said they’ll try to sell appeal of Texas, but didn’t sound confident.

This is great news for the Yankees because it sounds like the Rangers are giving up before the offers even start coming in. That said, this doesn’t mean it’s over. There is still a long way to go.

sounds like ryan might be playing the yanks.he is hoping the yanks intially start low,and he will convince lee to stay in texas for about 120 million.i would be very wary of ryan at this point,he is a ferocious competitor as we know.
