Yankees Claim Jordan Parraz Off Waivers

The Yankees lost a few of their Triple-A outfielders this offseason to they have supplemented that by claiming Jordan Parraz off waivers from the Boston Red Sox, according to Jon Morosi of Fox Sports.

Parraz, 26, will not play much in the Bronx no matter what happens, but he will help in Scranton. In 123 games in Triple-A last season Parraz hit .266 with a .760 OPS.

Baseball America ranked him 19th in the Royals system last season and noted that he has good gap-to-gap power and a great arm.
