Don’t Miss Our Yankees Prospect Profiles

I’ve been trying to profile a good amount of the Yankees prospects this winter in an effort to make our readers more informed and to foster dialogue on the farm system.

I’m not sure how many I’ll be able to get to this offseason. Hopefully I can do at least 40 or 50. So far I’ve covered 12 prospects. Not nearly 50, but it’s a start. Generally they’re going from best to worst, but really there is no particular order. Here’s what we’ve done so far:

Check it out and please comment on each article to let us know what you think about each of these players? They are the future of the Yankees.

Great list of prospects so far Rob. I know that Jesus Montero is rated the best Yankees prospect by everyone. And I do understand that but me being a pitching fanatic I'm most excited about Dellin Betances and Andrew Brackman. Dellin is a little further down but I'm hoping Brackman gets a shot at the starting rotation in 2011. Overall the Yankees farm system is awesome right now even though some people say it sucks; those who follow the farm no better.

      Spelling correction :

"those who follow the farm no better"

"those who follow the farm know better"

  2. I think Baseball America has them rated no. 6 this year. So yes, those who follow the team do know better.
