KLaw’s Yankees Prospect Rankings

ESPN’s minor league prospect guru Keith Law released his Top 100 Prospects for the MLB list and each team’s Top 10 list this week and the Yankees are featured prominently.

Here are the Yankees in the top 100 best in the game:

Here is how Law ranks the Yankees system:

  1. Montero, C
  2. Banuelos, LHP
  3. Sanchez, C
  4. Betances, RHP
  5. Brackman, RHP
  6. Romine, C
  7. Graham Stoneburner, RHP
  8. Slade Heathcott, OF
  9. Hector Noesi, RHP
  10. Adam Warren, RHP

It’s really great to see the Yankees with five prospects in the top 100 overall. This farm system has come a long way. Law’s Top 10 list is fairly routine at this point. The only surprise is Stoneburner who is typically ranked high, but as far as I can remember this is the first time he’s cracked anybody’s Top 10 list.

If you want to read more about any of these players I have profiled all of them and you can read about each of them and more here. The farm system is exciting these days. Be sure to read about all of them.
