Rain Threatens Yankees Opening Day

New Yorkers know this full well, it is usually cold and wet in April and as it turns out March 31st is also cold and wet this year.

The ground is already wet from sporatic rain we’ve had throughout the day and it could get worse. Bad enough that today’s Opening Day could be postponed until tomorrow or even Saturday as it is about 39 degrees as I write this and it is supposed really start raining by 3:00 p.m.

yankee-stadium-weatherIt’s supposed to be worse tomorrow with the possibility of snow as well. We’ll see if they even take the tarp off the field today.
