AJ Burnett and Francisco Liriano Dueling

New York Yankees AJ BurnettThough two innings we have the making of a pitchers duel as A.J. Burnett and Francisco Liriano have both looked good so far today as the Yankees are at home taking on the Twins this afternoon.

Burnett walked two batters to lead off the second inning, but did a good job to escape from the inning without allowing a run. Liriano has been making hitters look foolish with a good looking changeup.

So far Derek Jeter has picked up the only hit for the Yankees, a double to leadoff the game. Although Andruw Jones did crush one to deep right field that sent Denard Span back to the right field wall.
