Dellin Betances Will Miss a Start with Blisters

New York Yankees Dellin Betances

Dellin Betances has a long injury history so it usually is a big deal whenever he lands on the DL, but this time it isn’t as the big righty was placed on the 7-day DL due to a blister on his throwing hand, according to Josh Norris of the Trentonian.

Blisters happen to pitchers and are generally no big deal so there is no reason tow worry in this situation. This sometimes can be a reoccurring problem for some pitchers, but this is the first time I can remember this happening to him in his career and it is early in the season.

Betances has made one start so far this year, he tossed 4.2 innings and allowed just one earned run in a loss.
