Mark Prior Lands on DL, the Sky is Blue

mark-priorMost people realized this was really only a matter of time, but the Yankees have put Mark Prior on the 7-day DL, according to Bryan Hoch of The injury itself wasn’t initially known so it might be minor, but with Prior chances are decent that it could be an injury to his shoulder/arm/back/anything bad.

Prior has made four appearances in the minor leagues this season and has a 4.50 ERA over four innings with two walks and two strikeouts. He was impressive in spring training, but the Yankees never seriously considered him for a bullpen role as they wanted to see if he could stay healthy, apparently it was a good idea to question his health.

We, of course, will update you when there is more information.
