Michael Kay has nicknamed the Joba Chamberlain/Rafael Soriano/Mariano Rivera combo “JoSoMo” but like Kay himself that nickname is extremely lame. So we at BBD have decided to hold a nickname contest.
To be eligible to win you must either follow @BxBaseballDaily on Twitter or “like” us on Facebook and come up with the best nickname for the bullpen tandem of Joba/Soriano/Mo.
The winner will get a $25 gift certificate to StubHub which can be used for any Yankees games or other sporting or concert events.
To enter just be sure to follow us on Twitter or Facebook and get us your nickname entry somehow. The best ways to enter are to comment on this post, send it to us on Twitter, or by emailing me at rob (at) bronxbaseballdaily (dot) com.
So come up with something original and you could win.
The contest will run until Friday, April 22nd at 10 pm EST. At that time I will select my four favorite entries and they will be voted on by the readers. Contest winner will be announced Friday, April 29th at 10 pm EST.

My nick name is JoRaMa! Yell it…now doesn't that sound good!
Definitely like this better than JoSoMo.
"Arm-a-geddon"
The two amigos and a gringo. Or. Triple G's. (Good morning, good afternoon and goodnight)
"The Right Brothers"
That one is one of the better ones. Still trying to come up with one myself.
the relief effort
The o'fers. That way if necessary – it can include the 3 plus No(va), Co(lon), Lo(gan), No(esi), and Ro(bertson).
To be honest, I'd rather see Robertson in the 7th. Joba is not the "right" guy, imo.
Brothers in Arms
… also The Hail Mary Trio (I tre dell'Ave Maria), some old spaghetti western title, meaning … come the trio you'd better start praying! : )
I like this one, but I don't think it will stick.
OK, here is my entry: JAMS, for JobA, Mariano, and Soriano.
Cuz your in a JAM if your team is behind come the 7th inning, and then Mariano's cutter will JAM you …
"Termination Letter"
J. S. M. D. Just Shutting eM Down
The only thing I could come up with so far was the Doorslammers, because that's what they do; slam the door.
Either that or the Ushers, because when they come in, hitters have to take a seat.
If Soriano keep with his poor performance and lack of interest, as shown today, soon a TRIO will be a DUO.
