Yankees’ Soriano Could Begin Rehab on Tuesday

The Yankees are getting closer to getting some help in the bullpen as Rafael Soriano is set to throw his final bullpen session this afternoon and if everything goes well he is expected to begin his rehab assignment on Tuesday, according to George King of the NY Post.

At that point it would probably take him about a week or so to get himself back to the Bronx. Of course the caveat is that he has to make it through all of this without any setbacks. Back-to-back appearances with no problems would be the goal, but manager Joe Girardi did acknowledge that they may not have the luxury of waiting that long.
