Yankees Trade Rumors: Marlins Won’t Deal Nolasco

#yankees tried for [Ricky Nolasco]. They were told #marlins not ready to deal him. Fla aiming at ’12 w/ new stadium

The Yankees are searching all over for pitching help. It’s not that there is none available, but the ones that are readily available aren’t exactly big improvements over what they already have. So Brian Cashman has been busy making sure that pitchers that might actually make a difference aren’t available. That’s why he has called on Nolasco.

At this point it isn’t looking like a big deal is going down involving the Yankees at this year’s deadline, but it won’t be for a lack of effort. Cashman really is calling about everyone.
