Alex Rodriguez Returns to the Yankees Lineup

Alex Rodriguez finally returned to the Yankees lineup yesterday after missing about a month and a half while recovering from knee surgery.

He was inserted into the lineup in his customary no. 4 spot in the order. Things could have gone better as he went 0-for-5, but he is healthy and just shaking off the rust. A slightly unexpected move was that he was in the field in his very first game back. He’ll likely spend some time as the DH down the stretch, but it is encouraging that they trust him right away.
