Rivera Ties Saves Record at 601

Overall it was an ugly weekend for the Yankees who dropped two of three to the Blue Jays, but Mariano Rivera continued his march to greatness as he nailed down save no. 601, tying Trevor Hoffman for the most saves all-time.

The Yankees will now head back to the Bronx where they will face the Twins on Monday before starting a four-game set against the Rays on Tuesday. So Rivera will have plenty of opportunities to get his record breaking save at home.
