Yankees Re-Sign GM Brian Cashman to 3-Year Deal

The Yankees general manager Brian Cashman avoided becoming a free agent by agreeing to a three-year deal, according to Jon Heyman of Sports Illustrated. No word yet on how much money he will earn.

This was a rather painless negotiation as both sides seemed eager to get a deal done quickly. Now they can move on to CC Sabathia‘s contract.
