Free Agent Rumor: Yu Darvish Might Not be Posted

Apparently there is a growing concern among MLB execs that Japanese pitcher Yu Darvish will not be posted this offseason, according to Jon Heyman of Sports Illustrated.

This news shouldn’t exactly come as a shock to people. Darvish has had multiple opportunities in the past to come to America and he had obviously passed them up.

He can probably make more money here in the states, but then again, he is paid fairly well in Japan as well (he earned $10 million last season). The only real reason he would have for coming over here is that he has dominated so completely over there that he has nothing left to prove and could potentially be getting bored.
