Happy Holidays from Bronx Baseball Daily

Happy holidays everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts, but I have been spending some time with family during Christmas. I’ll get back to my regularly scheduled blogging tomorrow morning so check back then.

A couple of quick links to hold you over until then:

  • The Yankees may just be bluffing on Hiroki Kuroda (link).
  • A-Rod has gotten treatment on his knee and shoulder in Germany (link).
  • The deadline to sign Nakajima draws closer. The Yankees will wait to see what happens there before restarting talks with Eric Chavez (link).
  • The Yankees are still talking with Andruw Jones (link).
  • They signed former Red Sox lefty Hideki Okajima to a minor league deal (link).
  • Carlos Beltran gave the Yankees a last second opportunity to sign him, again (link).
  • The Rays, Orioles, and Phillies are all supposedly interested in Jorge Posada (link).
  • Joba said his arm feels great. He’s resting it and will begin throwing again in January (link).
  • The Red Sox also landed Andrew Baily from the A’s to go with new setup man Mark Melancon.

Feel free to discuss any of the above or any other MLB news. Like I said, I’ll be back full time tomorrow.
