Mariano Rivera successfully underwent throat surgery to remove polyps from his vocal cords at New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Friday, according to George King of the NY Post.
This surgery will keep Mo from talking for a week or two and then he is expected to be back to normal. This isn’t expected to effect him on the baseball field at all.
