Rumors: The Latest on Yoenis Cespedes

The first time we heard his name, Yoenis Cespedes was attached to the Yankees in a rumor. If Brian Cashman is interested him though he has done a good job keeping it under wraps though. Here is the latest on Cespedes:

  • In an article by Jerry Crasnick of ESPN, he suggests it could cost at least $50 million to sign Cespedes.
  • Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reported that it is still unknown when he will officially become a free agent, but the earliest it would be is by the end of next week.

    Yankees need to sign cespedes and get rid of Swisher Cespedes is younger and has one heck of a record, andways to keep in shape. Get rid of 1 pitcher and one OF thereis your 50 mil. Sign that guy up and hurry, It should happen in Jan.m he will be a free agent then.
