David Robertson on track for opening day

Yankees fireman David Robertson‘s foot injury gave everybody a scare last week, but it turns out to have just been a bruised foot.

He had a boot on over the weekend, but he removed it today and was walking without a limp, according to David Waldstein of the NY Times. He played catch later on in the afternoon and told Newsday’s Erik Boland that he felt no pain. Sounds like he’ll be ready for opening day with no problems.
