Join BBD for fantasy baseball

I’m putting together a fantasy baseball league. This will be the 4th year I’ve done so and it’s always been a lot of fun. I’m going to change things up a little bit this year though and move things from Yahoo to ESPN and from the typical draft to an auction style.

But first thing is first, we need players. If you are interested please email me at rob (at) or respond to this article with your email address in the comments section. Please don’t ask to play unless you plan on keeping up with your team all season long. Nobody likes owners who show up for the draft and then don’t keep up with their teams throughout the season.

The draft which has been tentatively scheduled for Monday, March 19th (probably around 8:00 ET). We’ll figure out how many players will be in the league based on the response I get. All other specifics will be figured out as we go.

Winner of the league will be awarded a $50 gift certificate to

    • Invite sent. That's 20 invites for 20 spots, but a few people still haven't signed up. If you are out there and interested please let me know and I'll put you on a standby list. It seems likely that there will at least be one more spot available.

  6. Alright. The league is officially full. 20 players. It's going to be an bonanza.
