Yankees get good news on Granderson and Swisher

Yankees got some good news on a couple of their injured outfielders on Wednesday. Here is the latest:

  • An MRI came back negative on Curtis Granderson‘s right elbow. He’s listed as day-to-day (Feinsand).
  • Nick Swisher (groin) played in a minor league game going 4-for-8 with 2 walks as a DH. He might play in the outfield in a minor league game on Thursday (Jennings).

At this point it seems likely that both will start the season with the team, but any setbacks at this point would put that in jeopardy.
