High-A Tampa: W 6-1 vs Clearwater. W: O’Brien (2-0)

Rob “Seggy” Segedin: 1/2, R, 2 BB (.333). Continues to stay hot. 13 for his last 30 (.433/484)
Kyle Roller: 0/3, R, K (.189)
JR Murphy: 0/3, R, BB (.241). Slumping a bit these past couple of games.
Neil Medchill: 3/3, 3 R, HR (2), 3 RBI, BB, SB (1) (.323). He’s old for this level, but you never know when something can just click and a player figures it out.

Andy Pettitte: 4 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 3 K, faced 13 batters (1.29 ERA). Looked very good again.
Mikey O’Brien: 5 IP, 7 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 K (0.84 ERA). He’s off to a very impressive start.

Low-A Charleston: W 7-5 vs Rome. W: Checo (1-0), S: Guerra (2)

Mason “Mad Mase” Williams: 2/5, R, 2B, 3B, RBI (.318). After todays game his OPS is over .800
Cito Culver: 0/3, R, 2 BB, K, (.114)
Gary “Sanchize” Sanchez: 2/5, R (.324). Was 0/3 to start the game, got hits in each of his last two at bats.
Ben Gamel: 1/5, R, K (.229)
Tyler Austin: 2/4, R, HR (3), 3 RBI, BB (.438). Now slugging 1.031, with an OBP of .531, OPS of 1.582. Small sample sizes, but that’s ridiculous. He has 3 homeruns in just 7 games.
Casey Stevenson: 1/4, R, K (.321)
Francisco Arcia: 2/4, R, HR, RBI (.300). Gary Sanchez was the DH today, Arcia was the catcher.
William Oliver: 6 IP, 3 H, ER, 3 BB, 5 K (1.64 ERA). That’s two good outings on the young season.
Pedro Guerra: 1 IP, zeros (1.29 ERA).

    Nice to see Pettitte is staying on track as well
