Joba Chamberlain said that his arm has completely recovered from Tommy John Surgery and he is expected to get his boot off his foot in about two weeks, according to an AP report.
Joba actually sounds like he is doing pretty well. He has resumed working out at the Yankees minor league complex. The expectation that he would have been back from the elbow injury by June, the news that his arm is 100 percent is right on schedule and his ankle injury seems better than originally anticipated.
It is still hard to gauge when he might be back, but the news doesn’t seem nearly as grim as it did back in March. Perhaps he could be back on the field by August.
