Remember Rivera’s slow start? What slow start?

Remember Opening Day? Mariano Rivera‘s velocity was down, he had no command of his pitches, and everyone panicked. Even a couple of writers on this site started to wonder what might happen if he finally started acting his age now at 42.

Yeah, that only lasted one night.

Since Opening Day, Rivera has pitched in six games, thrown six innings, struck out six, and has only allowed two baserunners. Good for a 0.00 ERA and a 0.33 WHIP. Like Jeter, Mo’s not done yet.
