Swisher not 100 percent but he’s close

Nick Swisher returned to the Yankees lineup for the first time on Sunday after suffering a groin injury and even played in right field as he went 2-for-3 with a home run. However, after the game he admitted that he still wasn’t quite 100 percent.

“I would not say I’m 100 percent,” Swisher told Chad Jennings of the Journal News. “But I’m close.”

The Yankees have three more games left and play their first game on Friday. Hopefully that’s enough time to get him 100 percent. It seems like he will be as long as there is no setback.
