The Yankee beat: extensions, ball parks, and stoppers

The Yankees have their first winning streak of the season as they have picked up back-to-back wins against the Orioles to improve their record to 2-3. Here is what the blogosphere was talking about Tuesday.

  • It’s About The Money wonders if the Yanekes should join the growing list of teams dolling out contract extensions to its young stars. It would be great if they could manage to keep Robinson Cano for something reasonable.
  • The Yankee Analysts considers the ugliest and most beautiful ball parks in baseball. I loved PNC Park in Pittsburgh when I visited there last April.
  • Pinstripe Alley wonders if Ivan Nova is the Yankees’ new “Stopper.” He seems like he might have the right mentality for it.
