And here is the latest from the Yankees blogosphere.
- The Yankee Analysts asks, at what point do you give up on Phil Hughes? As a starter, he really doesn’t have much time left but with a setback to Michael Pineda will the Yankees really turn to David Phelps?
- River Ave Blues takes a look at the importance of Andy Pettitte on a related note.
- The Greedy Pinstripes takes a look back at Brett Gardner as a prospect.

They are bringing Mitcehll up for a reason. I don't think Garcia gets Hughes spot if he gets demoted. I would imagine that a guy like Mitchell could get a spot start if Pettite is delayed for any reason. So eventually the rotation would be, Sabathia, Nova, Pettite, Kuroda and Hughes/Phelps/Mitchell. Kuroda came up big last night when we needed to win a close low scoring game.
Must agree hotdog as Hughes and even Nova haven't look sharp in the past couple of games let's hope Nova doesn't head down Hughes path. Sabathia, Kuroda, Pettite, Nova, and probably Phelps sounds like the rotation for now if Phelps looks adequate that is. It's early in the season so lets hope they straighten things out pitching wise but the hitting is also an issue.
