The Yankees Beat: Opening Day, Mo, and Pineda

It was Opening Day for most of baseball today, but unfortunately not the Yankees. For that we’ll have to wait until Friday at 3. Here is what the blogosphere was talking about today.

  • The Captain’s Blog asks, if the Yankees aren’t playing, does opening day make a sound? I think it sounds kind of like the Red Sox bullpen imploding.
  • The Greedy Pinstripes takes a look at Mariano Rivera as a prospect. He certainly had an interesting style of clothes back then.
  • Yankees Fans Unite hopes that the lessons the Yankees learned from Joba and Hughes help them with Pineda. I hope so too.
