Eddy Sosa: 1/5, 3B, RBI, K (.238)
JR Murphy: 1/4, RBI, BB, K (.240)
Ramon Flores: 1/5, R, K (.248)
Rob “Seggy” Segedin: 3/4, R, 2B (.314)
Neil Medchill: 1/4, 3B, RBI, K (.262)
Kyle Higashioka: 1/4, R, HR, 2 RBI, K (.200)
Kyle Roller: 1/4, K (.200)
Sean Black: 2.2 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 5 ER, BB, 2 K (5.59 ERA)
Dawerd Cruz: 2.1 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 ER, BB, K (7.71 ERA) He made the jump from the GCL last year, where he was not particularly good, to High-A Tampa.
Alex Smith: 3 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, BB, K (0.00 ERA) 6’1, 190 lb, 27 year old lefty out of Virginia. This is his first season in the minors.
Matt Bashore: 1 IP, 3 H, ER, BB, K (9.0 ERA) Also a lefty, this 24 year old was drafted by the Twins with the 46th overall pick in the 2009 draft out of Indiana University. He had some sort of injury and missed all of 2010. In 2011, he pitched 16.2 innings in rookie ball.

Low-A Charleston: W 5-4 vs Delmarva. W: Joel De La Cruz (2-0)

Mason “Mad Mase” Williams: 1/3, 2 R, BB, 2 K, SB (12), CS (3) (.327)
Cito Culver: 0/4, 2 K (.226)
Gary “Sanchize” Sanchez: 3/4, 2B, 2 RBI, K, SB (3) (.354) I would imagine the only thing holding him back from a promotion is JR Murphy’s slow start. He was removed from the game after a CS in the bottom of the 7th… utto.
Tyler Austin: 0/4, K (.314) Just seven for his last 36 (.194) after a scorching start.
Dante Bichette Jr.: 0/4, 3 K (.206) I wonder what’s wrong with his swing.
Ben Gamel: 1/4, 2 K (.238)
Angelo “Bubba” Gumbs: 2/4, R, 3B, K (.220) Nice multi-hit game, hopefully this gets him going a bit.
Casey Stevenson: 1/3, R, RBI, BB, K (.410)
Scottie Allen: 6 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, BB, 6 K (3.77 ERA) As dreadfully bad as he was last year (7.52 ERA), something seems to have finally clicked this year. Excluding his first two starts, he has a 1.63 ERA and 16 K in 22 innings. He’s still just 20 years old.
Wilton Rodriguez: 1 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, BB, HR (3.27 ERA)
Joel De La Cruz: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, BB, 2 K (0.00 ERA) Four K in four IP. Two wins in two appearances.
