Aardsma could pitch a simulated game next week

Joba Chamberlain isn’t the only DL’d reliever with good news. David Aardsma continues to throw bullpen sessions and might pitch in a simulated game as soon as next week, according to an AP report.

Aardsma had Tommy John Surgery last July and seems completely on track to return by the All-Star break. The 30-year-old has a career 4.20 ERA to go with a 9.1 K/9 and a 5.0 BB/9.
