The Yankee Beat: Pettitte, Appel, and last year’s deadline

Wednesday was a rough day for the Yankees. They found out that CC Sabathia was going on the DL first thing in the morning, Andy Pettitte broke his ankle later that afternoon, and then they were forced to demote one of their top prospects in Dellin Betances to Double-A. At least they beat the Indians for their 5th win in a row. Here is the recap and graph from that.
