The Yankee beat: Pirela, Upton, and domination

The Yankees got CC Sabathia back on Tuesday and he was very sharp as he threw six-shutout innings before being lifted because of a pitch count. They went on to beat the Jays 6-1. Here is the recap and graph.

Here is what the Yankees blogs were talking about today.

• River Ave Blues has a good article about prospect Jose Pirela, who has played himself back into relevance.

• The Yankee Analysts discuss trading for Justin Upton and said that if Brian Cashman wants to get a deal done, he has the pieces to make it happen.

• It’s About The Money…Stupid writes about the Yankees offense and talks about how it has been a very tough one to dominate and has only been shutdown four times all year.
