It looks like the Yankees might not have completely wasted the $8 million they spent on Pedro Feliciano. Ok, well they probably still did, but Feliciano is on track for a September call up if all goes right in his latest rehab, according to Erik Boland of Newsday.
The former Met, who needed shoulder surgery before even pitching a single game in Pinstripes, threw a 20-pitch batting practice to live batters on Tuesday for the first time in almost a year. He could begin pitching in rehab games soon and if all goes right Brian Cashman expects that he could be apart of the roster once they expand in September.
