Yankees represented by 4 at All-Star Game

The Yankees will be well represented at the 2012 All-Star Game in Kansas City this year as Robinson Cano, Curtis Granderson, and Derek Jeter were all elected by the fans to the starting lineup and CC Sabathia was chosen as one of the pitchers.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem likely that CC will pitch in the Midsummer Classic because he is on the DL though.

Cano, who has 20 home runs so far, was picked as the captain of the AL Home Run Derby team since he won last year. That means he gets to pick the team and he decided to take Jose Bautista, Prince Fielder, and Mark Trumbo. They will take on the NL team which consists of Matt Kemp and his team of Giancarlo Stanton, Carlos Gonzalez, and Carlos Beltran.

Here are the full 2012 All-Star game rosters and here is BBD’s ballot.
