BBDP MVP: David Adams – 3/4, 2 2B, HR (6), 2 RBI
According to Kendall Rogers, the Yankees signed undrafted free agent Daniel Aldrich out of College of Charleston, also Brett Gardner’s alma mater. He’s a high power, high strikeout kind of hitter who played well in the Cape Cod League. Low risk, high reward type of signing. He signed for at least $150,000, as the Yankees had plenty of money left over after the Ty Hensley signing.

ugh swept across the farm system. Good to see Adams is still raking though
Agreed. It always eases the pain when the big league club wins too
Daniel Aldrich is signed with Yankees for 150k? I thought Yankees maxed out budget plus 75% overage tax when they signed both Hensley and Mesa Jr. How much signing bonus does Mesa Jr. sign for?
No, the Yankees saved a lot of money by signing Hensley for $400K under slot and then they saved a lot more when they signed picks 6-10 at just $10K each. So $150K to Aldrich shouldn't put them over.
Great to see Heathcott showing some consistency
It's huge. In a relatively down year on the farm, having him do what he's done is a major saving grace.
