Chris Dickerson: 0/4, 2 K (.295)
Corban Joseph: 1/4, 2 K (.268)
Eduardo Nunez: 2/4, R, HR (1), RBI (.238) No errors, hooray.

Brandon Laird: 0/4, K, E (18) (.248)
Franki Cervelli: 0/2, BB (.246)
Melky Mesa: 0/3 (.000) First game in Triple-A. I expect him to struggle for a while here, but I’ve been wrong before.
Adam Warren: 5 IP, 9 H, 5 ER, K (3.91 ERA)
Chase Whitley: 2 IP, 2 H, ER, K (4.3 ERA)

Double-A Trenton: W 9-6 vs Altoona. W: Betances (2-1)

Walt Ibarra: 2/5, R, 2B, 2 RBI, K (.276)
David “DAdams” Adams: 2/4, 3 R, 2B, HR (5), RBI, K (.311) Not sure how third base is working out for him, but now that the Yankees got McGehee I’d imagine they’d move him back to second.
Zoilo “Zee” Almonte: 2/4, 2 R, 2B, HR (14), 4 RBI, K (.272) Four homeruns in his last 10 games.
Luke Murton: 3/5, RBI (.263) Look who’s getting hot again. 10 for his last 25 (.400)
Kevin Mahoney: 0/5, K (.269)
JR Murphy: 1/3, R, BB (.232) Still getting the hang of Double-A.
Rob Segedin: 1/3, R, BB (.202) Same.
Dellin Betances: 5 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 4 BB, 2 K (4.31 ERA)
Francisco Rondon: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 2 K (3.88 ERA)

High-A Tampa: L 3-4 vs Charlotte. L: Tracy (5-4)

Ramon Flores: 1/4, R, BB (.305) Six game hit streak. Don’t say anything bad about him because right now he has to be one of my favorite players. If he repeats this performance next year in Double-A there won’t be many doubters left, and this is coming from someone who doubted him at the beginning of this seaosn.
Adonis Garcia: 1/5, K (.236)
Slade Heathcott: 1/5, R, RBI, 2 K, 3 SB (10) (.270) He has all the tools in the world, he’s just gotta stay healthy.
“Stone Cold” Tyler Austin: 1/3, 2 BB, 2 K (.316)
Kyle Roller: 2/5, RBI, K (.262) Hasn’t done much this season, I think he might be one of those college guys who rakes in the low minors then finds his level and fizzles out.
Gary Sanchez: 1/5, K (.238)
Matt Tracy: 7 IP, 8 H, 4 ER, 0 BB, 4 K (3.18 ERA) Not a terrible outing, got a bit unlucky with a lot of hits falling in. Got hit pretty good this game but stayed out of any major trouble. Having a pretty solid season. Not what I was expecting/hoping for but he’s erasing his sleeper status for sure, and in a good way.

Low-A Charleston: L 3-4 vs Greenville. L: Oliver (3-5)

Cito Culver: 1/4, R, 2B (.220)
Ben “Gam-Gam” Gamel: 2/4 (.311) He’s the king of the system with regards to multi-hit games.
Robert Refsnyder: 1/4, R, RBI (.250)
Dante “Bichette Happens” Bichette Jr.: 2/4, R, K (.241)
Joel De La Cruz: 1 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, K (3.66 ERA)
Charlie Short: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 2 K (0.00 ERA) 24 years old, 2.1 IP at this level over two outings, no hits, and 5 K. I’m gonna take an adventurous guess here and say that he’s too good for this level and should probably be moved up now. I’m gonna work on finding out what his stuff is like.

Short Season Staten Island: L 3-11 vs Auburn. L: Benak (1-4)

Taylor Dugas: 1/5 (.308)
Claudio “Janitor” Custodio: 2/4, R, 2B, HR (1), 2 RBI, E (16) (.260) Struggling bigtime in the field this year, which comes as a surprise. He’s really picked it up with the bat though, 12 for his last 31 (.389).
Matt Snyder: 1/4, RBI, BB, K (.323) Another game, another hit.
Isaias Tejeda: 0/4, BB, 2 K (.154) Very disappointing this season.
Daniel “Dee-Lo” Lopez: 3/4, R, K (.256) Another one who’s starting to pick it up. Seven for his last 19 (.368)
Dietrich Enns: 1 IP, 3 H, ER, BB, K (2.82 ERA)

GCL Yankees: Double-Header

Game One: L 1-4 to GCL Pirates. L: Rincon (3.38 ERA)

Abe Almonte: 1/3, K (.222) Okay, now that Mesa has been promoted to Triple-A, time to send Abe back to Double-A.
Austin “Aoooon” Aune: 1/3 (.293)
Ericson Leonora: 0/3, K (.246)
Yeicok Calderon: 1/3, R, HR (4), RBI, K (.247) Will he homer in both games? Stay tuned.
Dalton Smith: 0/2, K (.000 ERA) Good to see another young guy debut.
Miguel Andujar: Subbed in for Smith late 0/0 with a walk.
Jerison Lopez: 0/1, K (.324)
Eduardo de Oleo: 0/2 (.143)
Angel Rincon: 3 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, K (3.38 ERA)
Caleb Frare: 2.2 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 2 K (4.85 ERA)
Kelvin Castro: 0.1 IP, 0 H, 0 ER (3.38 ERA)

Game Two: W 6-4 vs GCL Pirates. W: Niebla (5-2)

Nathan Mikolas: 0/3, BB, E (1)(.148)
Ericson Leonora: 2/4, R, RBI (.254)
Yeicok Calderon: 1/4, R, HR (5), RBI (.247) He’s got the power, now he just has to start making contact more often.
