King Felix throws a perfect game

After the beating King Felix Hernandez gave the Yankees two weeks ago this shouldn’t come as a big surprise, but he became the first Mariners pitcher in the team’s history to throw a perfect game yesterday when he did it against the Rays yesterday while striking out 12.

His whiff percentage during the game was an amazing 44.1 percent. The Rays couldn’t hit anything he threw at them. Amazing. Congrats to The King and to Mariners fans.
