Granderson riding the bench with mild hamstring tendinitis

Holy injuries, Batman. They keep piling up in the Bronx with the latest victim being Yankees center fielder Curtis Granderson.

The Grandy-man hasn’t played an entire game since Friday after he suffered a hamstring injury. He went in for a MRI which showed no damage and just mild tendinitis. It was enough to knock him out for most of the weekend and it should keep him out while the Yankees are playing on the turf in Tampa Bay.

Hopefully he can do something productive with his time off and work with Kevin Long because he has been absolutely terrible lately. On top of his typical bad defense, Granderson has hit just .195/.259/.409 since the middle of July.
