Hiroki Kuroda didn’t have his best stuff tonight, but the offense and bullpen showed up for a change as the Yankees beat the Rays 6-4 to move one game up on the Orioles for sole possession of first place in the AL East.
Derek Jeter and Russell Martin were the offensive stars of the game as Martin had a 2-RBI double and a solo shot while Jeter had a three hit game. Martin’s average is now up to .202 (of all the things to celebrate).
The Yankees will now head to Baltimore for a four game series where hopefully they can take care of business.

All Yankee fans are frustrated at this point. Hopefully, they will start their winning ways.
