Yankees/Tigers Game 4 of the ALCS is rained out

Game 4 of the American League Championship Series that was set to take place in Detroit tonight was postponed due to rain. The Yankees and Tigers sat through more than an hour rain delay even though it wasn’t raining before they declared a rain out. The game will be made up on Thursday at 4:07 p.m.

This actually hurts the Yankees quite a bit. Now CC Sabathia will have to pitch on just two days rest to go in both Games 4 and 7. Which means that Phil Hughes, or David Phelps, will once again have to go up against Justin Verlander if the series gets that far.

And don’t forget, you can buy Yankees playoff tickets both at home and on the road and support Bronx Baseball Daily at the same time by heading over to TiqIq. I’ve used the service myself, it’s a cheap and easy way to score tickets.
