Yankees Morning Bits: Jeter, Rapada, Hughes, D-Rob, and Rivera (not that one) 1

Derek-Jeter

The Yankees lost to the Cardinals 7-6 yesterday.

• Derek Jeter has been cleared for full baseball activities and should be in a game soon.

• Add another to the pile, Clay Rapada has been shut down 7-10 days with bursitis in his left shoulder.

• Phil Hughes (back) felt good after long toss yesterday and will throw a bullpen on Sunday.

• David Robertson (sore shoulder) played catch from 60 and 90 feet yesterday.

• Juan Rivera played first base a day after the Yankees said they wouldn’t use him there.
