BBD is giving away some Yankees books for free 23

core four

I have some books to giveaway to Bronx Baseball Daily readers. The first is Core Four: The Heart and Soul of the Yankees Dynasty by Phil Pepe and Lefty: An American Odyssey by Vernona Gome and Lawrence Goldstone. I might even have a copy of Driving Mr. Yogi: Yogi Berra, Ron Guidry, and Baseball’s Greatest Gift by Harvey Araton lying around that I can giveaway too.

All you have to do to be entered to win is to like BBD on facebook or follow BBD on twitter and let me know that you’ve done so in the comments section of this post. A week from today I’ll randomly select a few winners and mail you a copy of one of the books for free. Pretty simple.

If you already like or follow BBD then simply comment on this post and I’ll put you in the running as well.

Sup Rob. I'm Freddie Gambale, and I liked BBD on FB just now. I'd love to get a free book, but more importantly I wanted to let you know that I really, really enjoy this website. I've read this site daily for a few years now, and I think its one of the absolute best sports sites on the web. Especially since you added all the other writers. No offense, since I am definitely a big fan of your pieces, but the variety and depth of Yankees news added by the plethora of talented writers you have makes BBD unmatched IMO.

Not trying to brown nose btw, and I really do hope its random. But figured this is a good place to share.

Thanks Fred. I always appreciate a nice complement. It helps on those mornings when I really don't feel like writing about the Yankees. Keep reading.

Hi I am Wynn hasty . I have been a Yankee fan since 1955 when my dad took me to see a Yankee game and I saw Mantle ;Berra; Ford and all those greats. I think you all have the best Yankee site around. I also love the minor's information you put up ao we can see how the young guys are doing. Would love a book but regardless keep up the great work.

Since 1955? I'm jealous, you experienced such a great amount of baseball history. I can only hope that in my lifetime I'll see half as many greats as you did in Yankees pinstripes.

Hi, please enter me in your book giveaway. I've been a yankee fan since I was old enough to watch the games as a little girl. There can't be a bigger fan of The Core Four out there anywhere. These four men are more than professional athletes. They have always been the best examples of sportsmanship & giving the game a good name. I'm mourning the end of a wonderful era in baseball. I read Bronx baseball daily everyday & e-mail the articles to family members who are interested. Please keep it coming.

Hi, we are from New Zealand and my husband loves the Yankees. He first saw them in 1998 and has followed them ever since. I know he reads your site every day. I have liked your FB page and I'm sure he would love one of the books.

Followed on Twitter, Rob. I'd love a copy of the book. I've grown up idolizing the Core Four. Without them, I'm probably not even following baseball right now. Love the website just as much. It's part of my daily readings (or whenever I have time to kill). Keep up the great work guys!
