BBDP June 11th: Jake Cave goes off in double header

Peninsula Pilots' Jake CaveBBDP MVP: Jake Cave – 4/7, HR, 2B

Eric Jagielo is in Tampa, which hopefully means he’ll sign soon. Aaron Judge thinks he will sign soon as well. Ian Clarkin can’t legally sign until he graduates high school, but the Yankees are confident that they will sign him once that happens.

Tyler Wade (4th round), David Palladino (5th round), John Murphy (6th round), Cale Coshow (13th round), Jordan Barnes (15th round), Derek Toadvine (22nd round), Sam Agnew-Wieland, and Kevin Cornelius (31st round) are all either signed or in Tampa and expected to sign soon.

Kosuke Katoh expects that a deal will be done by next week.

  1. Love that tweet from Ty Hensley. Also, I'm getting excited on nights when De Paula pitches.

Me too. I am rarely inclined to comment on anything on twitter, but I commented on his tweet. I thought that it was inappropriate for a grown man like Axisa to make a comment like that about a kid like Hensley. Almost like he was picking a fight.
