Hudson Valley Hands Staten Island First Lost of 2013 Season

In front of an intimate crowd of 2,533 at the Ballpark in St. George the Staten Island Yankees fell to the visiting Hudson Valley Renegades 4-0.

Rookie Davis made his Staten Island debut going four innings allowing 3 runs, 2 earned, on five hits.

Derek Toadvine

Designated hitter Derek Toadvine was kept off the base paths until the ninth when he had an infield hit to the second baseman.

Mike ONeil

Michael O’Neill played center for the Yanks and was 2-for-5 in the game.

Brandon Thomas

Brandon Thomas was 1-for-3, he is seen here sending a ball in my direction in the camera well.

Kale Sumner

Kale Sumner had three hits

Isaias Tejeda

Catcher Isaias Tejeda was hit-less but reached on an error

Mikeson Oliberto

Mikeson Oliberto had a hit in the game

Hector Crespo

Hector Crespo made his debut in the game but did not record a hit.

Jerson Lopez

Jerison Lopez had two hits in the game before being taken out in the fifth inning.  Francisco Rosario took his place at third.

Dillon McNamara

Staten Island native Dillon McNamara made his professional debut in the game. The former Moore Catholic pitcher tossed two innings, allowing two hits and two walks.
