Yankees 2013 27th round draft pick: Dillon McNamara

27th Round, 824th Overall: Dillon McNamara, RHP, Adelphi University, Year: SR, Bats: Right, Throws: Right, 6-foot-5, 220-pounds

A Staten Island boy who went to Long Island for college and he’s a senior. He and his family are all Yankees fans on top of that. If they can’t sign him it’s because they don’t want to.

He’s got mid-90’s fastball, a slider, and the makings of a cutter. He had a 0.28 ERA with 43 strikeouts in 32 innings as a reliever this season. He was a starter before he suffered Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which required surgery so perhaps he could still be a starter yet.
