Yankees avoid arbitration with David Robertson

And then there was one…

The Yankees and David Robertson agreed on a one year deal worth $5.2 Million with Robertson avoiding arbitration. Following the announcement of Robertson’s deal, Robertson told the media this:

“I’m excited about the deal and looking forward to the upcoming season. I have already been training hard and I’m here in Tampa waiting for spring training to get started.”

That leaves Ivan Nova as the only Yankee who doesn’t have an arbitration deal as of yet. Stay tuned for more arbitration news, Yankees fans.

Nova is locked for 3.3m. I have 180m right now without unknown expense. Theoretically, Yankees have only 4-5m left to spend. Tanaka is probably good for 13-16m AAV. Tough call.

The Yankees will most likely go for Tanaka it if they don't get Tanaka they will go for another starting pitcher the only thing…… They still need a 3 rd baseman.
